Special Operations Forces Week

SOF Week 2025, the premier annual event for the international Special Operations Forces (SOF) community, will take place from May 5–8, 2025, in Tampa, Florida. Sponsored by USSOCOM and the Global SOF Foundation, the event serves as a critical platform for fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence in modern special operations.

The 2024 edition saw over 19,000 attendees, and SOF Week 2025 is expected to surpass this milestone, drawing SOF professionals, industry leaders, and government stakeholders from around the world. Attendees will gain unique insights into the latest advancements in special operations capabilities, tactics, and technology.

EMO in Transition - Learning from the Ukrainian/Russian War

OC Europe will take place from 6 - 8 May at the Roma Convention Center / La Nuvola in Rome and will focus on the topic of ‘EMO in Transition’. As a prelude to the event,

The ongoing conflict in the Ukraine has seen new technologies and systems being introduced into the battlefield. This speedy capability insertion has significant impacts on EMO strategies, operations in the land, sea, air and space domains as well as in emerging EW system requirements. The conference will examine the effect of these rapidly evolving technological changes in military strategic planning, new equipment development, novel EW capabilities and electromagnetic operations in the field.

AOC Europe 2025 will examine drone applications in electromagnetic operations, effects of disruptive technologies, the exploitation of modelling and simulation in system design and military test and training requirements. In addition, the increasing dependence on the space domain will be addressed.

A focus on regional and NATO requirements and capabilities together with lessons learned from current electromagnetic manoeuvres in the Ukrainian conflict will be discussed.
