shocCMS

Control Software for SDR’s, Classifiers &Data Decoders

shocCMS, is a database and computer supported classifier, receiver and decoder control program. It is based on many years of experience in this field. Scanning, automatic station identification, memory (channel) manager, decoder control and many other's functions are available (former shoc RSM).

There are requirements to setup state of the art control software to provide solutions for COMINT projects in the HF, VHF/UHF and SHF range. This involves the following online or offline tools:

• Creating an infrastructure around a suitable signal intercept system
• Signal classification
• Data analyzing and decoding and signal analyzer software for online decoding of the intercepted signals in digital format.
• Recording, display, decimation and conversion in the IF domain.

The shocCMS software supports surveillance/search operation by detecting and classifying signals of interest. The classification recognizes the modulation type and further tools the protocol of a signal. If possible the signal will be demodulated and decoded to the content level. Standard receivers connected via LAN or USB are supported.

The shocCMS software controls the signal acquisition, the classifiers, the decoders, the receivers and direction finders. The search and classify application provides a fully automatic mode to scan a frequency range, detect all signals of interest, classify these signals and store the results for later analyzing and processing.

The shocCMS has the required interfaces allowing the end-user to add own functions, decoders and interfaces.

Together with a classifier, receiver and decoder, the shocCMS (Communication Monitoring Software)  offers you a very powerful listening and monitoring tool.

The stations to be monitored are found more rapidly in a data base than by looking them up in various books, tables or spread sheets. All selected stations are directly displayed on screen ready to be monitored. The software makes it possible to search the database using criteria's such as name of station, call sign, modulation type, country, language, type of transmission, time and others. Stations fulfilling the criteria are displayed in a window. With a "mouse-click" you set the receiver and decoder to the selected stations.
You can move from station to station with cursor up or down. In a second window you see the parallel frequencies to the station selected in the first window.
You can change to these frequencies by clicking with your mouse. If, during monitoring new information are entered into the database or information are changed or deleted then this new information are immediately available in all users.

IDENT MODE

Doing manual tuning, the software will display information when a database entry is found close to the frequency selected. All adjustments of the receiver and the decoder may be entered into the database.
